In Jan 2022, we had #BackToSchool photo contest for our parents who fetched their kids to school in child seats or bike trailers.
Four parents each received a $30 dining experience at The Tuckshop Assembly for their family after showing what good sport, and parents they are for bringing their kids to school with a smile.
Let us all take inspiration from them and do more for our kids. It helps with family bonding, and is great exercise too!
CONTEST HAS ENDED
During the Valentine Day period of Feb 2022, we had the #RideWithBae contest for users to share photos of themselves and their better halves enjoying each other's company while cycling with our app's new 'Moments' function.
Two lucky couples received a $150 dining experience from The Tuckshop Assembly and a pair of Lameda cycling jerseys from Winspace Singapore respectively.
We hope all couples can take up cycling and explore the wonderful sights Singapore as to offer!

Blended Challenge RIDEnjoySG celebrates joy of riding in season-finale
For an app that promotes riding joy, it’s fitting that the finale of RIDEnjoySG Challenge was held on the International Day of Happiness (20 March 2022).
Smiles, cheers and laughter were a-plenty as 90 finalists between the ages 12 to 72 years old competed in Swift cycling at Shimano Cycling World at the Singapore Sports Hub.
For many, it was their first time enjoying gamified cycling on a road-bike and winning both the Open and Sportive finals was Daryl Chan, 40, who usually rides a Brompton. For his remarkable feat in winning both categories, he won a 2-night stay at Official Hotel, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore.
The Family Fun final saw parent-child teams using a Smoothie Bike to see who can produce the most smoothies while participants at home enjoyed a live-streamed the Ridenjoy Celebrity Challenge by SPLASH Pure Drinking Water, which was eventually won by Dr. Kua Harn Wei.
A Brompton foldable as well as a 2-night stay at Official Hotel, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay Singapore, and a Brompton travel bag sponsored by CycleOxygen, were given away in the Grand Lucky Draw.
To qualify for the finale, participants had 80 days to enjoy the RIDEnjoySG Game using the Ridenjoy app to collect JoyPoints located island-wide on roads, park connectors and cycling paths. While out cycling, participants can also take augmented-reality selfies at JoyBeacons and enjoy deals at JoyStop merchants.
Based on their mileage, participants are rewarded in-app with virtual jerseys from green (200km), pink (500km), polka dot (1,000km) to yellow (2,000km).
Top qualifier for Open (262 JoyPoints) and Sportive (1,675 JoyPoints) was retiree Andy Tan, 61 – who took home a ‘Special Achievement’ trophy and a yellow cycling jersey.
“I used the app almost every-day as it offers real-world and digital experiences” explained Tan, who accrued 5,266km using Ridenjoy. “I love the family atmosphere of Ridenjoy as it unites riders from all walks of life and cultures. It doesn’t how fast you are or what bike you ride as long as you share the joy of cycling.”
In 99 days, 15,621 registered to be part of RIDEnjoySG Season 1 and amassed a total of 183,150 mileage J-Coins.

Do take part in one or all three events. Open category is ideal for on-road cycling, while Sportive and Family categories are for riding on PCN and cycling paths, so that the whole family can enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience.
RIDEnjoySG season 1 runs over 13 weeks. You can choose to collect as many Joy Points as you can in one ride or over several rides. If you want to qualify for the Grand Final, you will need to climb the leaderboard and collect as many Joy Points as you can.
Plan your routes carefully and do NOT slow down when you approach a Joy Point. If your GPS location is working, you will hear a sound notification saying “Ridenjoy!” and the Joy Point will be ghosted. At the end of each Event ride, there will be a report on how many Joy Points earned.
All active mobility modes are allowed to participate. However only Contestants with human-powered bicycles are allowed to qualify for the Grand Final. Please do not switch between a normal bicycle and a PAB for different rides.
And yes, fossil-fueled vehicles like cars, motorbikes, lorries and vans and also electric cars are definitely not allowed.
You can also walk to collect Joy Points if you want to. Active travel is both walking and cycling.
Yes. Please share and tell all your friends about RIDEnjoySG powered by Ridenjoy app.
We will be launching Ridenjoy outside Singapore from 2022 onwards, so stay tuned.
