Cycle on Land and in the Water
Singapore’s first female-focused cycling event FEMMES FIRST returns on 20 July 2024 at the beautiful PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore with a unique event where you can cycle on land and in the water.
Last year, over 500 participants cycled to Sports Hub to witness the inaugural Wonder of Women (WoW) Awards which celebrates empowered female cyclists for their contributions to non-profit work.
This year, the FEMMES FIRST WoW Awards will induct more female cyclists who inspired us with their efforts - on and off the bikes - in helping the underprivileged and to raise awareness of important issues.
This 20th July, enjoy an early morning ride around scenic Marina Bay precinct with WoW inductees followed by the FEMMES FIRST WoW Awards at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore.
Post-ride, enjoy a relaxing pool-side breakfast or try aqua aerobics in the hotel pool with The Ripple Club's aqua bikes. Men and children are welcomed too, but no pets allowed for post-ride event at The Skyline bar.

- 7.45am Cycle from ArtScience Museum, Marina Bay Sands (meet at 730am)
- 8.15am Arrive at Official Hotel PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore (bikes will be left at Ground Floor Driveway with Event Staff)
- 8.30am Wonder of Women Award ceremony begins
- 8.45am Poolside Breakfast begins
- 9am Aqua Spin Class by The Ripple Club
- 9.30am Lucky Draw
- 10am Event ends
Entry Fee: SGD 38 (inclusive of GST, a poolside breakfast and a chance to win a staycation at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore)
Participants are to bring their own bicycles. If you do not own one, you can look for shared bikes around Marina Bay Sands, Bayfront and The Helix Bridge. Use Anywheel or HelloRide apps to rent one.

Femmes First 2024 is part of
Wellness Festival Singapore by the Singapore Tourism Board, showing a new side of Singapore as a city within nature, where you can relax, heal, recharge and find your inner balance. An extensive range of programmes has been designed to help you reduce stress and anxiety, and promote personal growth, mindfulness and resilience.
The Ripple Club was started by co-founder Alicia Antonuccio was diagnosed with Patellofemoral syndrome in 2007. With all sport, except swimming, aqua aerobics, or aqua biking, off-limits, she tried the latter and was hooked. It was the one thing that helped to keep her knee pain at bay. When she moved to Singapore in 2011 and was unable to find anything similar, she and her husband, Yannick Dedigama, decided to build their own aqua fitness community. In 2012, they quit their jobs, bought 13 aqua bikes and established Aquaspin™ (now The Ripple Club), and the rest, as they say, is history!
